How this website handles your personal data, short and clear.

Who processes your data

The controller of your personal data is Filip Hajduch, operator of the website filiphajduch.dev. You can reach me at filip.hajduch03@gmail.com.

Contact form

When you write to me through the form, I process your name, email, subject and message. I use them only to reply to you and to continue our conversation. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in replying to your message (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The message is sent through EmailJS (EmailJS Pte. Ltd.), which delivers it to my mailbox at Google (Gmail). The EmailJS library is loaded from the jsDelivr network only once you start filling in the form.

I keep messages for as long as we are in touch, at most 1 year after our last contact. Then I delete them.

Visiting the website

The website runs on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), which logs visitors’ IP addresses for security reasons.

For anonymous traffic statistics I use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.). It uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not track you across websites. It only collects aggregate data, such as page views, where you came from, your country and device type. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used.

The website uses no cookies or advertising tools.

Data stored in your browser

Your browser’s storage keeps only the appearance you chose (light or dark), if you switch it, and the time you last sent the form, so that messages cannot be sent too often. None of it is sent anywhere, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

Transfers outside the EU

EmailJS, Google, GitHub, Cloudflare and jsDelivr may also process data outside the EU, mainly in the USA. These transfers are protected by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or by the EU‑U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing and to object. Just email me at the address above. You can also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz (opens in a new tab)).
