Hi, I’m Filip Hajduch.

I’m an IT specialist focused on cybersecurity and a master’s student of Cybersecurity at the Faculty of Applied Informatics, Tomas Bata University in Zlín.

At work, I take care of securing company infrastructure and endpoints, monitoring security events and handling incidents. What I enjoy is that security has a real impact on people and data.

I got into security during my bachelor’s in Software Engineering, thanks to a course in Cryptography. I still love building software, though – in my free time I make open‑source apps for macOS.

My bachelor’s thesis on post‑quantum cryptography led me to explore the field in depth. I follow how the world is preparing for the arrival of quantum computers.

I’m also interested in the organizational side of security: policies, risk management and regulations such as NIS2, DORA and the ISO/IEC 27000 standards.

Sport is my best counterbalance to the hours spent at the computer. I started with football; today the gym has a fixed place in my week. Over time, cycling joined in – I ride my gravel bike around South Moravia, and every time I’m surprised again by how beautiful the countryside there is. And when there’s time left, I like to go for a swim.

What really got me, though, is motorsport. I follow Formula 1 all season and enjoy some adrenaline myself, whether on go‑karts or at home on my racing simulator. Nothing clears my head as reliably as a few fast laps.
